Why don't telcos, radio stations and music companies get together to sell their music?

1. Have a SMS/Text service where you can find out the song being played over the radio instantly.

Just text in your request and the station will text you back the name of the song being played.

2. Allow the option to purchase the song either as a ringtone (phone) or as a complete MP3 (internet).

If it's purchased as a ringtone, the song downloads into the phone immediately. If it's purchased as an MP3, the system opens an online account (under your mobile number), forwards the song to the account and sends you a text with the access password.

3. Billing is done by billing the mobile phone number.

Great for those times when you're just listening to the radio want would love to have a copy of the song being played. Would it really be that hard to do it?

Round 2 deadline - 8 January 2007

I think I will go for Round 2, as I have yet to complete my GMAT and only see myself taking it in November. But I will start working on the essays.
